HEy fellow Wombles!
I am going to have snow on a base, for the first time. I don't like the GW snow so much and decided to go for the Snow Tim use to use. I have bought some baking soda. you're supposed to mix this with PVA glue is I understand right? should I also mix in a bit of water? how much baking soda and glue shall I use? 50/50?
Thanks for answering my newbie questions,
Andre

Just mix in the Soda into pva glue until you have a paste if it gets too thick then add water to thing it a little, apply it as you want it and then sprinkle on some more whilst still wet. Wait till it dries and then blow off the excess. I have heard that Andrea snow is also excellent but I have never used it so can't say for sure.

I like mine to get to a consistency where I have to actually place it on with a sculpting tool instead of it being liquidy and flowing and bruhsing it on.
Iv found adding water makes a fluffier snow, whilst not adding gets a slushier effect (but only adding two or three drops)
Just experiment with it, I had to do about 3 or four bases before I found a mixture that worked well for me.
