... "Hang on, there's something missing from this world I have created". After a few moments of thinking, he announced, "Let there be rock!" Yes, an unusual subject and beginning of a post, but all will be revealed. Yesterday, I obtained a very very very nice electric guitar! The list price is £130, and we bought it for 55 quid! Here's some pictures: I am extremely pleased with it as it sounds absolutely amazing (even when its not plugged in!). Anyway, enough about me and my instruments, what about you guys? If you play any instruments, please share and if possible put up some pictures! Cheers, Raccy.

Hehe cool guitar mate, and a great price too ;D
I play the drums. I have a drumset down in my cellar, and it drives my parents insane! ;D
The drumset is not very good. I got it for only 85, it costs something between 250-300 i think. But it sure does manke noise! And it is a good for practicing.
I'll see if I can post up some pictures later.

Are you a leftie Raccy? Because the guitar looks upside down to me. Either that or I'm stupid.
I'll get a photo of my guitar tonight and post it tomorrow. I'm only a beginner but I'm getting there all the same.

Yes, I am a leftie (and damn proud of it! You wouldn't believe the bloody hassle of even trying to find a left-handed, never mind finding one which you might want to buy! Anyway, I look forward to seeing your guitar matey! Don't forget, everyone started as a beginner. I've been playing seriously for about 2 or so years and I'm still crap (but quite a lot of the time I didn't practice so its my own fault). Just remember, never get down heartened like I have sometimes, with practice you will improve (it also helps to have a teacher ). Raccy

I've been playing the keyboard for a few years now, and I'm hoping to have learnt under the bridge by Christmas, (I've done the intro so far). Heres my keyboard: I'm also hoping to start learning the guitar again as well, as I started when I was 7, but found it difficult as I was given a right handed guitar. I've got my eyes on this: As close as I could find to John Frusciante's.

Nice keyboard mate, its good to see what you guys play!
So you're a leftie as well? One piece of advice: don't be bullied into learning to play right-handed. Some teachers are total £$%&*@~# and won't even teach left-handers, others (like my current one) have never taught a left-handed guitarist before but is willing to give it a go. I've actually ended up helping my teacher as he can now play left-handed as well as right!
If anyone tries to get you to play how you don't feel comfortable playing, walk away and find a new teacher. Like I said earlier, its almost impossible to find a left-handed guitar in shops, there's only a handful usually (if any at all) and most of them you don't even want! It really is discrimination and as you can see I find it rather irritating to say the least but just don't give in!
Play loud and proud my friend! - Raccy

Indeed I am a leftie, but not for writing. Only for tennis and guitar.

I have a PRS Tremonti el-guitar I bought about four years ago. I think I payed something like 650£ for it, and I got a massive disscount! I played a lot for a few years, but haven't played at all for the last year. In fact I think I'm going to dig it out from my storage room tomorrow and play some:) anyway here is a photo of it

hello all, just thought i would bump this post about where i have been lately, not on this site obviously (shame on me), but ive been absorbed by my instruments, as i play guitar, heres a pick of them, i must say there all brilliant guitars and the Westfield's were a right bargain each, the Electro acoustics cost me £75, down from the regular £150 and the classic les paul was down from £150 to only £30, and the red Yamaha was my second ever guitar and was a Christmas present. thanks
