Good news folks for those who loved the boardgame "Talsiman" (re-release GW, you are losing lots of money - durr!!!). This top notch game is being released on Xbox Live Arcade sometime this year so keep your eyes peeled!! sorry to PS3 owners who inadvertantly got excited reading the thread title.

The boardgame is also returning, so those people who wasted money on a ps3 can still play lol

Well that's great newsl. I may well get the boardgame as well, took them long enough to realise its still popular and worth producing. But still XBL offers greater scope for playing a variety of people and is good for when you are all alone (sniff, sniff). Catan is also a pretty cool strategy game, simple but addictive.

I loved that game, though I don't have any of those video game systems.

Talisman is the best GW board game ever. I still have all my talisman sets (the original ones) and we often play it. My copies are showing their age now so a re-release will be good news for me. I just hope they don't change it beyond recognition.

Do you have all the mini's they released for the characters as well Tim??? I have seen a few Talisman sets on ebay with them all included a while back. COuldn't really justify buying it though, I spend enough on the 360 at the moment without buying more boardgames as well, although I did sneakily get Family Guy Uno not long ago!

@dfb I never bought the minis but just used to use the card characters that came in the sets. I wish I had bought them though as they tend to do well when they come up for sale.

I'm sure I've heard of this before...I think my History teacher (and role-player ) has got this, or had it or something like that. I'll ask him.

Watch the cheek sonny-jim we ain't that old!!!! Consult the great Oracle high in the Caves of Death on the Island of Pain if you must, but we can all assure you it exists and it will get you hooked if you buy it (which you must by the way!). Guarenteed. Tim, I don't like the look of the card figures in that trailer matty posted a link to. I will invest in some minis, I'm sure GW will release a Talisman range again, but I may just use a selection of my own choosing.

I agree the new artwork is not as good as the original ones. If they release a new range of miis then I can see me getting them this time around.
