Just a quick question, i ws going to press mould some shields and was wondering how to go about it!
Do i press into GS or milliput? I was thinking GS would be better, but then i thought, how do i stop the stuff from sticking..
Can i use something readily available as a release agent.. i was thinking vaseline?? detail is not an issue , they are simple sheilds..
thanx in advance

when I was younger I used to cast tin soldiers (I dunno if thats the right word) but then I used talcum to make it easier to take them away from the mould

I think vegetable oil works well. Cyril Abati uses it for press molds. And he use's milliput (i think, i couldn't read it as it was in french) but thats because he scores patterns into it once it has dried.
