Managed to finish up this guy. He's more fun to paint then i thought he would be, although i still hate trying to get flat white

Very sharp, SC! The freehand is very well done. This guy really pops for me--I like the color scheme. My only nitpick would be that the metallics on the halbard head and the wings on the helmet seem a bit flat.

Great job! The face & hair look really nice, and the gems are just amazing.
I agree with Jabberwocky on the metallics&gold. At some places they look super, and at some places they miss some depth.
Overall I really like it!

I like it, the metals on the halberd could be tidier IMO and maybe a couple of intermediate shades on the cloak though white is a bitch to get right. I like the face alot and the freehand worked out well too.

Looks good buddy, whites crisp and the freehands nice.
Metal on the halberd could be shaded better, but may just be the camera playing tricks.

@tim: That's the reason i hate working to get a flat white. It's way to frustrating

@bru: Nah, i didn't do a whole lot of highlighting or shading on the halberd. I will admit that i got a little lazy and was just so eager to finish this guy.

@jabber & Magie: I'd like to blame that on the camera, but your right. Some places I didn't put a whole lot of effort into, while others i did. So parts were just frustrating to try and get at.
