Were these figures actually released as plastics because I am pretty sure they only did metal talisman figures? This guy may be a forger, recasting the metals in resin. Or am I wrong?? I really think maybe someone should mention this dude to GW's legal team so he can spend all those rip off prices hes been charging on his legal fees.....

But if this guy is a forger, couldn't he have done a better job, and not paint the minis like that? And why not then cast rarer minis. Or are these ones rare? They look quite silly to me actually.

Nah 3rd edtion Talisman came with placcy figures, I have the set with all 3 expansions (and spares of the minis), and although the sets do command a decent Ebay price complete, the Wizard minis were given away free on the cover of White Dwarf a while back, and the Beastman and Black Orc were packed in sets of 8 or 10 as regiment boxes.
Any old placcy Ebay lot is bound to have them in, alongside the old Dwarves and Lizardmen Saurus......most of them were just the same placcy mini and not very good ones either, packed in multiples.

Most defo not worth £15 undercoated!!

The original Talisman had minis that were metal and certainly worth the prices today, but these....not a chance.

At those prices I need to sell my collection and pay the house off, buy a boat and go on Holiday. the worst thing is he has 100% feedback and people are stupid enough to buy them. You could have some fun though and send relentless stupid questions to him, Maybe 10 a day till he gets bored and gives up. Now where are my beast-men hiding?? time to sell

I have the new talisman and both expansions - the new dungeon and the reaper, it is a great boardgame that has lost none of its fun for me. In fact I have been chatting on MSN with one of the Talisman playtesters and although his lips are sealed on all the new stuff they are working on he runs a fansite called talisman island - www.talismanisland.com/ with lots of great info and other stuff to.

Many of you probably already know of it but for those that dont check it out. I will be sculpting a piece for him that will be cast in pewter as a limited edition run, one piece a year or something like that, we are still thrashing details and ideas about really.
