Hi mate, thanks for taking the time to post your work. My favourites out of this bunch are Hama and Tom Bombadil, they are good tabletop minis all round. If however you want to take your painting a little further then thinning your paints and being just a little neater will go a long way to helping you progress. Fir me the conversion work fro Cirdan isn't quite there but I'll give you credit for trying it as converting minis is something that I never do. Keep posting your stuff mate as it is always good to see new stuff on here.

Thanks Tim C.
Cirdan hasn't really had a good pic taken of him to be honest. In real life you can actually see the hair strands in his beard, but for some reason the pic hasn't shown them :?

All very nice looking mini's. The picture of Cirdan seems a tad bright, and that might be why some of the details on the beard are being slightly washed out. As Tim said, thinning the paints slightly would make things a lot smoother, especially on faces, but overall, nice work. I do like the colors on Cirdan's robe as well

Thanks. If I recall, I painted Cirdan's robes mainly with the new(ish) GW washes. It was ages ago so I've forgotten the exact combo, but I think it was: Inner robe - Skull White, Assuriman Blue wash Sash - Bleeched Bone, Gryphetone Sepia wash Outer robe - Hormagaunt Purple, Leviathan Purple wash, Baal Red wash on the cuffs.

Nice work Dinadan, I especially like the face painted on Hama and Tom Bombadil looks great. Not overly keen on the eyes of Legolas but eyes are always tricky to paint. Keep it up!

Nice work mate. I second Tim's recommenadtion to thin your paints a little more, and big up the new GW washes, especially for metals, they really are the Mutts Nuts. You're certainly on the right path tho!!

Just realized I never posted any comments... my apologies. I really like your colour choices. They fit the characters. I have much respect for people that paint the LoTR minis, they're so tiny. I agree with the others that your paint could use some thinning. Other than that, the blending looks quite solid! Great job
