Chaos Lord on Deamonic Steed

So i finally managed to pull this guy together! After a while of complaining about how much i hate painting horses, i found the time to finish him! Taking the photos was a pain, since it was either much too bright, or was too dark, i think i found the right ratio. I'd have to say that i'm super pleased with how he turned out, especially the shield.



I love how the horns turn out, but doing them that way is a freaking pain

So yeah, onto my next project that probably will take another month or so to do, simply because i'm sure i'll be busy with otherstuff >.<

Is the red armour on the warrior the same as the horse - the photo makes it look different? It seems a bright vibrant red on the horse but i m thinking that it might be a trick of the light. I was just wondering as its interesting how a photo doesnt always show off your work as it actually is.

The armor on the horse actually has an additional wash on it of red, so i think that may have given it a bit more of a glossy finish, which is being picked up by the light.
