I have never been one for commissions but when I was asked by my local art store to paint something for him as he had just started stocking GW I couldn't help but say yes as a) I was being paid

and b) it helps him in the long run. Now finally this miniature is as done as it is going to be. Yes there are things I could do better and things if I were do do it again I would do differently but overall I am pleased with the finished result and I know he is pleased with it which is the main thing,

I had to leave most of the plinth out of the pics as it was distorting the photos when I cropped it.

I like all the bones/spikes pretruding from the horses' body. The base is super, did it come with the mini or did you make it yourself?

The base looks great. I am curious what you used to highlight the cape. The mane and forelocks looks to be colder with the gray highlighting, but the cape looks a bit warmer.
