I have never been one for commissions but when I was asked by my local art store to paint something for him as he had just started stocking GW I couldn't help but say yes as a) I was being paid and b) it helps him in the long run. Now finally this miniature is as done as it is going to be. Yes there are things I could do better and things if I were do do it again I would do differently but overall I am pleased with the finished result and I know he is pleased with it which is the main thing, I had to leave most of the plinth out of the pics as it was distorting the photos when I cropped it.

Turned out wonderfull! I like all the bones/spikes pretruding from the horses' body. The base is super, did it come with the mini or did you make it yourself?

Thanks guys, MaGie the base in part (the part the horse is stood on came with the model, the rest was blended in using sand and pva glue.

This turned out splendidly. The base looks great. I am curious what you used to highlight the cape. The mane and forelocks looks to be colder with the gray highlighting, but the cape looks a bit warmer.
