Just like to re-introduce myself.
Just lately you may have seen some rather gruff and abrupt posts from myself on this site.
Yes I am a grumpy old so and so (from time to time), and yes I do tend to speak frankly, and to many of you older members that may seem strange and rather un-Bru-like, as I'm usually rather jolly and overhelpful.
This isn't down to global warming or the few pounds I've put on of late, and I'm assured by the Dr's it's not contagious.
It's down to the lack of traffic at the site, and the amount of 'oldtimers' that still come and visit and sometimes even take the time to sign in, but can't find a couple of minutes in the oh so busy lives they lead to post a couple of lines in a thread or two.
Also it's partly down to those who visit, post their own threads, expect us all to answer with flowering praise, but again are so stupendiously busy that they can't seem to find those minutes to post in anyone else's threads.
These are the things that make a Bruenor grumpy, and also make what was once a great community and super bunch of friends, a very poor and sad place to visit.
So for all the new folks around here please don't think that I'm a miserable so and so all the time, I just care alot about the site and all of it's members.
No ones says that you must complete X amounts of minis every week or that if you aren't the best painter in the world that you can't post........please by all means post away.
So in closing I'd like to ask for all your help in bringing back a smile to an old mans face by making WoM the place it used to be.
