Ogre Maneater Pirate

Sorry for my absence! So i've been completely ignoring the Battle for Skull Pass and have been working on characters instead of regiments. This one is the Ogre Maneater Pirate. I like the way it came out, though it took much longer then i had hoped to fully complete him. Comments and Criticism are always welcome


I like the small details that have shown up on this model. The parrot, for instance. It's a gnoblar dressed up as a parrot >.<
And just for fun, i gave this guy a gold tooth

Great job on all the details--the gold tooth as Bru mentioned, the pants, the treasure on the base, the woodgrain on the pistolas. As far as critiques go, I would suggest going a bit lighter on the darklining. Keep 'em coming, SC!

Overall very good and a big step forward from previous posts, a couple of areas that could be a little better are firstly the skin if you use a few more intermediate layers it will help the overall smoothness of the finished result this is especially important on big minis like Ogres and this being a stand alone character makes it even more so. Also the could be a little more definition between areas, the stripes are well done just one or two places where the brush seems to have gone off line a little perhaps a touch up where that has happened wouldn't go amiss.
A good mini and like a said a big improvement.

Good suiting colours. And I think the striped pants turned out really nice. I agree with Tim that the skin could use some smoother transitions, but the leather and metals look really good!
