Good start, the flesh tone looks pretty real8istic at this stage.

Bit of an update, am quite happy with the skin, theirs more contrast irl, i think my lights washed out the paint job a little. iv added greens and yellows to the highlights, red and blue (to make purple splitters ) for the shadows, some places need some smoothing out but am happy overall. Thinking about finishing the cloth off in green tartan Dark

Coming on fantastic... i would say you need a big brush to do washes thin and well on such a sculpt. I love the opportunity to use a size 2 brush! Look forward to the next level...

Coming along great, good opportrunity for experimenting on flesh, the green worked really well but did need bought down, which you've done.. I think the highlighting arond the eyes looks too 'white' and chalkey, a few light flesh washes should mend that

I like the interplay of the green with the gold metallic. My only suggestion would be to go a bit heavier with the shading around the rivets and at the very top where the "ball" and the main portion of the helmet meet.

Nice, I think a little more work on the metals wouldn't go amiss the gold to me is a little too bright other than that top notch.

cheers guys! Update time chaps and chappets Got some more work done on the gaul, hair is mostly done, iv used green/red/brown washes to add some depth, although i need to put a few more washes on his brows and tash to add definition, iv given the helmet a few more washes to stop it lookin gold and more bronze, hopefully thats worked, leather is done-ish (am really not happy with the straps, any advice?) and iv painted his necklace in stone although i may go back over and smooth the blending and add some green washes.

Wonderful job on the metallics. The stone necklace is excellent as well. Let's see if I can come up with some nitpicks for ya...
I think you could go back with a bit of shadow on the bottom of the cloak clasps. The green washes look great, but have covered up the recessed portion of the clasp compared to the top portion of the clasp. I don't have too much to offer on the leather straps, although perhaps just a bit more shading as they go back underneath the armpits.

@jabber - cheers for the clasp advice, iv gone back over the shadows with some darker scaly green and blacklined the reccess, hopefully u can see it in the pics right guys, update time, i shelved this for a while just so i could concentrate on other projects, am back on it now and its almost finished! i think just a bit of tweaking for the cloaks highlights and prob some black pigments for the damaged parts to add texture and maybe some work on the hair and am done! all the best Dark

Wow, that looks incredible! Excellent job on the cloak and the metallics.
Only thing i could come up with is that the leather straps under his arms could be a little darker. To me, they kind of look like part of the skin, but again, that's just me.
