Has taken me a few years to get round to this figure and so glad I did. I did a lot of searching through LoTR costume forums for references. The armour is only an approximate as the costume armour is much to complex to replicate at this scale, and unfortunately I couldn't find a definite banner. Fantastic work on the clothing as always! Nice to see another from ya, Dennis. My only niggling critique would be the wood on the standard; perhaps some fine woodgrain if there was room. I went and voted; the LoTR minis don't get much love over there...this one will be underrated, I am afraid.

Looks very nice dennis! Love the blues and the skin tone very much. The metal look a lot like NMM, but knowing you its 'real' metals right? how did you paint it? Great to see yet another of your minis  |

Nice to see you painting again mate this is ace and it is how I remember you best having followed your mini painting since you first started posting on O-R I always loved how much effort and how good the final product was on these minis, this is no exception I am just glad you didn't put it in the awards otherwise I would have been beaten back to runner up again.

Thanks guys... @sean, i would agree on the standard pole, it's rather plain but it's also too fiddly As for scores, what it gets is what it gets, still looks wonderful on my shelf @tim, i only just pipped you once! There are a few things i reckon i could have done better with this mini but i didn't realise until i shot the pics, by that time i'm usually thinking ahead and can't be bothered makin' changes, so as for a winner, i think not! |

That's fantastic, good to see more LOTR showing up, it's an underrated game and they're underrated minis I think. They're great, lots of detail on the metals. ANd you certainly made this one look brilliant! Nice work on the face, clothing, armour and especially the banner!
