Well, my little Isabella arrived today about noon. She is only 7 weeks early... She's a little whif of a gal at 4 lbs 10 oz. (think that about 2 kg or so if my math is correct) and is 16 inches long, but is getting off the supplemental oxygen fairly well. Hopefully, we can start tube feedings soon. Her mother and I are tired but doing well. This may put a dent in the painting, though . I'll get some pics of her up when we get out of the hospital.

Very Merry Happy Congratulations to you and the mrs!
My son arrived that early as well but now 18 years later he's taller than anyone else in the family...
Is it your first?
Cheers to you!

Thanks guys! Zap, she is the 3rd. She did well overnight and is out of the oxygen hood this morning. She'll probably be in the intensive care unit for a couple of weeks assuming no problems arise.

Thanks for all the well wishes! She came home last Thursday after a couple of weeks in the neonatal intensive care and is doing well. We are a bit more tired, of course... @charley--interesting thought. I don't think so; if my wife painted, I might be more inclined to put some stock in that theory.
