tryto dip the minis in the thing people (mostly women) use to remove nail polish for a few minutes any then take an old tooth brush and brush off the paint. I have not tried it (infact I have not stripped any minis yet) but I have heard about that method.

Brake fluid, Simple green and dettol pine cleaner all work well. Just give them a good soak then scrub em with a toothbrush.

Nitromorse paint stripper and then brush it with an old paint brush once all the paint is on rinse under cold water. Oh yes wear gloves too as it burns like hell if you get it on your skin.

Nail polish remover works well in a few minutes but make sure it is 'acetone' based.. the best is acetone itself... you'll need an old toothbrush to work the paint out of the recesses, i've used it a few times with great results

@ tim c, nitromorse, best tip ever forstripping mini's, i got an old metal pie dish, put my mini's in it, poured in thenitromorse, covered it in clingfilm and left it outside for 2 hours, took the mini's out rinsed under hot water, scrubbed with a toothbrush for about 10 seconds and they came up good as new. thanks for the tips.

I have some minis I want to strip so I'll try nitromorse too.
I have some conversion projects gone wrong. Is there a way to strip a mini of old dried GS and super glue?

I use Dettol, neat from the bottle, soak it overnight, and give a little scrub with an old toothbrush, much safer than Nitro Mors, plus it works just as well on plastic minis.

i found out last night that soaking your mini in nitromorse for 2 hours will also turn green stuff squishy and you can just peel it off it wont leave any residue left behind.
