I am pleased to announce the opening of the new World of Minis Painting Contest.
The contest will run from (Sept 1st) to (October 12th)..
The finishing date is non negotioable, and will not be extended as in previous contests, so if your entry is not submitted by the end date it will not be entered into the voting.
This is an open contest, concentrating on the actual painting of the mini entered, therefore the rules are as follows:
1. Any mini from any company, of any size (excluding large Forgeworld models).
2. No conversions, only standard stock minis allowed.
3. The finished mini must be displayed on a plain black base of relevant size to the mini itself. No display bases please these will not be entered.
4. The mini entered MUST be a newly painted piece, started after the start date, and not shown anywhere else, even as a work in progress (WIP), anything found breaking this rule will be disqualified.
5. Photos should be hosted on the entrants own photohosting site (i.e. Photobucket) and the img tags to TimC, by the closing date. Multiple shots of the entry are allowed and may help in the voting.
6.The voting will be an open poll for members of WoM, any found voting for their own piece or joining up with new accounts to push their votes WILL be disqualified, and removed from the WoM site.
7. In the event of a tie the deciding vote will be cast by TimC, no correspondence will be entered into over this, and the deciding vote will be final.
8. The voting will run for 1 week from the closing date.
The prizes are as follows, and will not be swapped about if you don't win the one you want, sorry.
1st Place (Dark Elf Battalion Box)
2nd Place (Cold One Knights Box + Dreadlord On Cold One)
3rd Place (2 x Blisters from the New Dark Elf Character Range.)
