Has anyone purchased this yet?

I purchased a copy about a week ago. There are some issues with the DVD and playing certain sections but over all not too bad. It is however imho not as good as the miniaturementors dvd's.

No I haven't bought that, I was intending to buy one or two more from the miniature mentor range but haven't got around to that yet either. I don't like the sound of the fact that it has problems playing, is that a common fault or just your copy?

iv bought one, lobbed it in my pc and it was fine. now, i cna understand that fact that its their first DVD, but, disc 1 and 2, were labbelled wrong (no biggie) however 2 or 3 of the videos dont have english dubbing (mistake on their part), however they have sought to rectify the mistake by posting the english versions on youtube

now theirs a couple of more issue with my DVD but nothin that cant be solved..
overall i dont get the feeling that the DVD is very well finished, however, the content is very solid, its well explained clearly visible and i did learn 2 important lessons/techniques and the gallery section is great, id say its well worth the purchase.

as for the minature mentor dvds whilst their quite detailed, the release dates are very unreliable (i was told 3 different dates for one vid) and information future content is sketchy at best, they also havnt dealt with some of the more advanced techniques that JBT DVD does, his dvd is quarantined, MM isnt...
