As you know I have been plodding along with a unit of plague marines. Most have been done to 99% completion stage. I have decided to go back and scuff 'em up a bit more and add freehand bits where I can.  |

I like it mate, I think though as I mentioned before the eyes need attention. I think what I would do there is add a darker shade of red along the bottom edge of the eye sockets for definition.

Went back and added a few bits here and there, the biggest of which is the tentacles to add some visual interest. I will probably go back and work a bit more on the fade, but was curious to see if folks thought I was on the right track. I also added some stronger darklining here and there. Thoughts?  |

Yes it is mate, to be honest I am a bit disappointed in the lack of replies that people get in their galleries these days. I will apologise for not being too active as I have been both busy and also had a touch of man flu too that knocked me up for a bit.
The mini looks alot better now the changes you are making are really putting this in the right direction, my main gripe before was the eyes and you have nailed that now. Excellent work.

Much much better now mate, the dark line under the eyes really make them pop!!
Very nice and grimey too, Papa Nurgles gonna love 'em!!

I have to agree with the guys, love the new effect on the tentacles, it really does make them stand out more. The little change to the eyes really added a whole lot to them.
Nurgle was always my favourite chaos god and I think you have nailed the look. I think myself I would have tried to make the metals more rusty but thats personal taste.
Roll out the next one!
