Well here he is at last my first Dwarf Ranger from the plastic figures box set. A lot of fun to paint after my initial disappointment with the detail (or lack of) on the mini. I will definitely be painting more of them so as they are done I will put them in here.

Very nicely done Tim. If I can pick one thing out it is the beard which I think just makes it for me.

I'm amazed over the detail on this non-detail-avarage-mini you've picked out. truly great!

Excellent work as always, Tim. On a side note, I didn't know Dwarves could be rangers in LoTR. Do they work above ground primarily or still underground? Just curious about the history there.

Thanks all, Jabber I believe they work much the same as rangers would normally do and ply their trade above ground.

And here is number two. I like this one much better than the first. The colours came out alot better and the overall look is better too. This will be the look that the rest will get with a little variation here and there. Thanks for looking guys.

Lovely clean paint job and crisp colours Tim, but thats what I expect from you anyway. The bases are what but these guys over the edge, they really are amazing I think.
Well done, can't wait to see the rest of them painted up!
