Good day gents!

I call this little Bugger Finished from now on. MAybe not my best paintjob ever, but I don't mind. I had lots of fun painting it, and the best thing is that I am painting again. Thanks to all of you for your support, and especially to Vincent who came up with the idea! Thanks mate, you're great

What he said. Seriously, though, I think you have done a fine job with this one Andre! The base is my favorite part--I think you captured the essence of the swamp with this one. The gobbie skintones are nicely done and I think the photography isn't quite capturing how good this is. As for critiques, just a couple. I think a bit of weathering on the boots and legs would add to the piece. The gobbie is standing on a pile of bodies in the middle of a swamp and his boots look too clean, IMHO. The other is the blood on the front of the sword. I think the back side a bit better. The front (particularly at the top notch) looks too rounded/thick IMHO. On the back side, it is thinner and more "streaky" which I think looks more realistic.

Anyway, the most important thing is you are back in the game. Glad to see you painting once again, and I look forward to seeing more from you.
