I am a bit afraid of the dryer. I am too afraid that I will melt down the mini, or ruin the paint job.

Desktop Shot of The Week #4: Sorry for the late update, but I was unable to take the picture last night. I have finished modelling the Ork Nob, and I have undercoated him black. The Nurgle Champion is still in the modelling phase. I have decided to use the two handed weapon after all, but to swap the blade with an axe. I think the massive axe looks better than the sword and the shield. I should have finished modelling the Nurgle Champion yesterday, but I didn't have as much time as I thought. I really hope to have it primed by the end of this week though.

Cool that looks like a cool conversion of the Nurgle champ on there.

Yip, that is a fantastic weapon for this mini, you may like to lash his shield (if you still fancy using it) to his back Just na thought as i love that shield with the hands you were thinking about using

I agree, the big axe suits him much better, and the shield on the back would be a nice touch. Will be watching this one closely.

Desktop Shot of The Week #5: This update is actually one week late. But better late than never eh? This is actually last weeks update. I have cleared away everything that has nothing to do with my two GG entries, and that is pretty much everything but my brushes, paints, and the palettes. This is because I find it easier to paint when my desk is not crammed full of useless stuff, and because I easily get distracted and start working on other projects instead. I will (try to) keep it this way until I am finished with my two GG entries.

Nice and uncluttered, an example that I think I should follow.

Hehe, so true, so true...I have the attention span of a chihuahua on a caffiene frenzy if I don't keep focused few minis at hand. I am sure we all have a box full of half finished minis!

I will have to follow your idea on a clean work top, at the mo i'm getting greenstuff all over the place, pva in my water, tobacco on my cleaning cloths, dipping my brushes accidentally into coffee and admiring my next great project... you know the one that is always going to be your 'best' and inevitably ends up in the to do another time bucket!

Sitting and watching minis is another problem I have. Sometimes I just sit watching a cool sculpt, or just watch my paintwork figuring out what to do next. Talking about watching paint dry! ;D And I have the coffe problem too. Sometimes I wonder "why does my brush taste coffee?". One time I also dipped my brush into the cofee of one of the GW Oslo staff!

Desktop Shot of The Week #6: This is last weeks update a week late. As soon as I get my camera back from the repairing guys I hope to back on schedule. I have been working on my two competition entries, and a test model for my Uruk-hai army. Check my WIP threads for closeups.

Desktop Shot of The Week #7: I promised myself to keep the area tidy until I finished my two competition entries, but as usual I started a new project and my desk was once again a battlefield. I have started on my mechanical mayhem competition entry, even though I am working for a deadline with my other two entries Hopefully I will have all three of them finished by the end of may
