backlog box - an idea

Hello all,

Here is an idea I have had for awhile, it is called “the backlog box” the basics of it is that at the beginning of each month we set a side a box of miniatures from our backlog and try to paint them in the course of a month. Painting all the miniatures will earn you coins and stars, which will in turn go towards some form of backlog title, i.e. Backlog master, ect.
Let me know your ideas as if Tim and the other staff members take interested it may bring more motivation towards the hobby and in turn the site may become more popular but this idea still needs thinking with.

it sounds cool, i could not commit many each month but i would def try it, i think matt would be at a disadvantage though as all his minis are classed as backlog! lol just joking

It sounds good mate, but have you actually seen my backlog. I would have to start now and be painting until I am at least 350 years old.

It's an incentive but it'd probably end up in the backlog box with all my other good intentions and have started minis

I think its a great idea! I still have a managable backlog, it would only take me about twenty years to finish. Sign me up, one mini a month might be managable to begin with.

One backlog box thread a month for people to show WiP and then a second to show finished models would be great!
