This is the result of 24+ hours of actual work. Every bit has given me trouble...but I am pleased with the final result. I may shorten the crossbow arm as it looks too long but other than that I think the proportions are right.

i think its fine, your arms come down to about half way between your hips and your knees, IMO you got it bang on well done!

I think this is one of your best yet, a simple way to judge the length of how long arms should be is if you stretch your arms out to the side then the sum measurement from finger tip to finger tip should be more or less the same as your height, don't belive me try it yourself. My wife and son didn't believe me until I got them to try it, the look of amazement on their faces was quite satisfying.

mmini, I think this is great! I'm not sure whether you should shorten the arm or not though, you decide!

i think the left arm needs some work now, would be a bit hard to comfertably achieve that posistion

That may be the problem. I think the right arm is probably the right length, but the left arm is a bit short, which makes the right arm look too long. The distance from the shoulder to the elbow is the problem. I believe the forearm and hand are ok. Maybe? ;D

All reasonable critisism, the whole thing just isn't quite right. Shame, as I liked plenty elements of it. I've just started a new one today and am being frustrated by it getting nowhere...
