got the first of my Tankbustas today.The pic is terrible but its the best i can do with out my photo set up, what do you think. Also is there a set colour scheme and what about bases??  cheers James |

That metallic thingy (mine?) is really cool, looks nice and weathered and dirty.
Spacemunkie is supplying bases which Tim will be dishing out once he recieves them. And the theme is just generall Orkyness, green skin, browns/reds and weathering.

That is a very nice start mate the mine looks particularly good. The bases as matty says are being supplied by spacemunkie, as soon as I have them I will start to send them to the various people that need them.

progress! Im suprised how much im enjoying doing metals for a change, i usually do NMM so this is a nice change.  Edit:ohhh those eyes dont look to good,ill re-do them. |

Looks good! As the others have mentioned, the mine looks nice and dirty. I like the checkered shoulder guard as well. The patch on the leg is a cool touch as well. I think the skin could use a bit more highlighting, IMHO.

Excellent orc, love the metals and the gritty feel... i assume the flesh areas are as yet incomplete so my only niggle is the white cheques on the shoulder are a little to clean!

I really like him. The skin is great, what colours/techniques did you use? I am painting my first ork atm so I would really appreciate some advice ;D The "bomb" and cheques are also really cool ;D I am not so sure about the eyes though  |

i think you have done a good job so far, just one thing, the eye's look like they could benifit from being repainted, they just look abit odd to me. the rest is great though. good work

they just look odd, it might be because its such a close up compared to the actual size of the mini?

Have to agree on the eyes  the left eye (as i look at the pic) is turning in and the pupil round, the right eye has a slit style pupil and is centred, i'd suggest changing one to match the othe, as for now they are a bit distracting.... the honesty of your photo size doesn't help for criticism! As for the rest a solid orc paintjob, well done. |
