Well with the Chaotic Contest over and done, I'd like to be the first in with a suggestion for the next one.
How do you guys feel about an Undead one?
This would cover all aspects of undeadness from the rotten Zombies and Skeletons, to Ghouls and Ghosts, through to Vampire and their kin, and Liches and Necromancers, oh and of course the good old Wolfmen.
Practically anything that shouldn't still be up and moving about, it should be in the ground and at peace.
Lets here your thoughts on this suggestion, and any suggestions you all may have to go a different route, and what it would cover.

that's a good one, but how about make the theme more like an homage too horror movies and related? anyting that pays respect or has a character or alike to it!? I think it would make it more creative when one can pick a favourite character or scene from a movie and turn it in to a mini-dio
like: all zombie movies, sci-fi horrors, vampire movies and such...

Hmmm not a bad idea Zap', the problem there is not everyone watches horror movies, so some wouldn't have a clue where to start.
If "Undead, Bloody stay Dead" gets picked as the contest idea, by all means make a diorama of a movie scene, it would look cool.
Plus many of us a shite with Greenstuff so that would make it unfair on those who wanted to convert stuff to enter, but didn't have the skills to, I think it would put off potential entrants, plus it would take away from the fact it's a painting contest, not a converting one.
I'll tell you all now, the Undead and all that come with it is something I love and will fight for tooth and nail, so bring it on!!!

Ack!! Skellies  I know those little buggers should be easy to paint, but they catch me out every time I try one  I like the idea of undead, so will have to have a rummage and see what I have in 'stock'  DOD finishes on Tuesday, so it's a mad panic to get it all done in time. A little breather would be nice before getting into another comp, but I would like to take part as its things like this that are a)making me paint and b) giving me a challenge which ultimately is keeping me interested in painting. Not to mention allowing me to improve too |
