hi when i heard about this comp i went out and got my minis and i have more or less finished my entry, (i have lots of time at the mo as im off school!) I then realised that the starting date is sep 1st. Can i still enter my model? As Tim said, Yep, but as long as it doens't get shown anywhere else, until after the competition ends.

Wips yes, not finished items, if the gent above has finished before the start date, he may be tempted to post it up somewhere. Wips only I'm afraid folks until Tim unveils the goodies after the closing date!!!

yeah you're right. my bad. It is the new dragon and will be the 1st prize for the Fantasy Category, I will post a full list with pictures as soon as I take them, also I can now announce that Hasslefree have agreed very kindly to sponsor us, this is a direct copy of the e-mail I received today, Okay, what i can do is offer 1st prizes into both categories of £10 vouchers but if the winning entry contains a HF figure then it gets tripled to £30. 2nd and 3rd places will get £5 each HF vouchers again tripling if use HF figures. Hows that? Sally I am most grateful for their support and with the incentive of tripling the value if the winners are HF minis makes it a very nice set of prizes indeed. awesome now lets hope we will get many entries in

Wow, great sponsors here. And looks like this competition has got much attention. Looks like this one will be the biggest WoM competition to date ;D Though I will only have enough time to finish one entry i think. Thanks alot WoM admin team, and of course the sponsors

Ok, so i jst registered here, mainly for this comp so i think i will enter. I will move this week and start to study but hopeully ill get some painting done.
I have some conversions done that i think will fit this contest (it is ok if i have began the conversions?). I have done a little painting too but it will be repainted to a better standard if im going to enter them to this contest.
Very nice with prices and such, i have entered some contests at other forums but there it have just been the honor to win, no prices so the prices makes it a bit more worth the effort i guees (even tho i dont relly think i stand a chance to get any price but i can always hope).

Does a Necromancer counts as chaotic enough for the competition?
Cheers, Wolfie

Pesonally I would say no, a Necromancer is more to do with the Undead than Chaos itself, a Chaos Sorcerer is fine, but not a Necromancer.

I think I would have to agree with that.

Fair enough. I'll find a model elsewhere. Cheers, Wolfie

Can it be a scratchbuild? I have some very nasty ideas for a deamon or two but I would have to sculpt 80-90% of the mini. ...

Scratch building is fine as long as it fits in with the Chaotic theme.

Well my life is Chaotic, does that count?!?
Heh, I'm looking for something to paint to my usual "below average standard"!
Any suggestions on a Chaos mini from GW that would be a good choice for a "blighter" like me?
I needs it to be GW cuz they are the easiest to get in the short amount of time I have left!
ArrOOoo!

Well I picked up the GW fantasy Chaos Chariot. Not too new or too exciting but a challenge enough for me and I know I only have a week left so that will be challenge enough
Cheers, gotta go clean some metal!
