October 7th? Hell that will teach me for thinking I have missed it. I might have something finished for this after all (something that Tim will like - get in with the judges I say! ;D ). Could have saved your latest CMON entry , fantastic work... maybe your best to date and yeah... i still have enough time to finish a Devourer for the large scale monster cat ;D

I do like the figure more than Belakor but I don't know if it is actaully painted better. Judging by the score, most people don't think so (although it IS about where I was expecting it though - no complaints from me). Having said that what I am painting now WILL be better. My only concern is that I will be entering it into the OZ GD, so I just need to check on the GD rules about that.

I think i agree, Belakor is a better paint job and a handful at that, i do like your version, it is probably just that the new figure is unfamiliar to me and the painting of it is exciting in an experimental way...
...i'm not so sure about GD and how new the figure has to be but i had a figure on two sites before i entered GW's Golden Griffon in Norway and nothing was said, best to check though.

Yeah I wiil be asking next week. The entry date is the same day as for here, but the OZ voting carries over a number of weeks

Tim,
Does 3 complementing/same type minis on a base count as a Diorama?
Say like 3 marines on a slightly scenic base, not that, I'm entering marines, but just wanted to use them as an example.

Yeahh!! ;D another entry, i'm kinda hoping ritual and demi have something for this but nevermind, it's great we've got something started, from the sesame seed comes many great things... ....can i suggest a bit of marketing before the next comp, a nice autograph across loads of sites ...maybe the site has been too hasty, it will take a while and at the minute we are relying on Tims reputation, so c'mon guys, let's spread the word in all the surfing that we do.... ....but then again let's not make it so big there ain't friends anymore.... btw.. i for one am vv happy for this site and i will enjoy watching it grow although i'm pretty shit as a news hound... but then MoM has that covered

Hi Tim. I have been feverishly painting an entry for the Oz GD. The first round is tomorrow, any figures that get past this round have another judging round on the 21st and any that get past that are sent to Oz for the final judging early in November.
I have to ask the judges tomorrow whether I am allowed to enter my GD entry into an online comp also.
But I have to also ask you if you mind me entering my GD model if GW say it's ok. If not that's cool I will still show it off here first on the web anyway.
Good luck everyone else.

Sure you can enter it mate, I don't see a problem with that, it hasn't as far as I know been seen anywhere else on the net so this is only a small comnpetition and to be honest the more entries the more interesting it will make it.

Well it has been a nice little competition, all are great entries. Tomorrow evening I will open up the voting thread and then we can see who the lucky winners are. I will probably move one or two entires into the beginners category to give everyone a fair chance, this isn't meant to be an affront so please if I move you don't take it that way, the aim is I want like I say to give every one a fair chance of winning.

I see you moved my entries to the beginners category, and I take this as an affront!!
well...not really. Admittedly, they were both thrown together last minute. I had no chance in hell competing against any of the others, so thanks for giving me a chance...albeit a slight one. LOL
