Very nice menace - better than the first one for sure and the idea was there to be pinched don't worry! How about etching that text into the marble that would look cool??? I tried to do this but it was beyond my ability with photoshop, then i thought the globe would have looked like a sore thumb, so i justified doing it the way i did! It would be for sure my desire to have 2 minis from WOM comps although i'd like to put them on a grey background to suit the banner... |

It's not too tricky too do actually, easier with just the plain text shape rather than the metal effect, but I'd need to be actually doing it myself I couldn't tell you how!! But you are right about the globe then looking out of place - unless you make it sink into the marble background as well of course. One thing I'd do though is sort the drop shadow out on the inside border as its a bit harsh. Drop the opacity of it a touch and increase the smoothness so it fades a bit more gently. I think having different coloured mini backgrounds is good as it is - it will be too much grey otherwise. Most people use white card or the blue to white gradient and I think this looks good here.

I think you may have a good point on the shadow, it would be easy to fix if i hadn't been such a twit and flattened the image without saving the layers  If it is chosen i'll make a final one with that improvement and keep a psd version on file... |
