I have opened this thread for entrantd to discuss the competion, if you want to post your ideas, thoughts, how many entries you are going to submit then this is the place. I would not recommend posting any pictures of your entries they should be e-mailed to me whare I will keep them until the closing date and then I will add them in the voting thread when that phase begins. When e-mailing pictures make sure they are jpeg and around 400 pixels this will allow for my computer to cope with them. Also please let me know how you are when sending them, ie username that sort of thing. I have not specified a limit to how many times you can enter but I think a maximum of three per entrant is sensible if you feel you need to hav multiple entries. I must stress that the more entries you put in will not increase your chances of winning, that is down to the voting and also the originality of the ideas.

i think maybe just have one per entry sort of thing, not three, makes it a bit fairer then?

dont worry mate, if you can express them in a way that gets them across well then its fine
and i do have a few ideas, but it will be quite fair, as the votes from people who liek my style will be spread out more

This is a lot more difficult than i thought! Everytime i sketch something it turns out to be a bit like something else... it is really difficult to be completely original with the plethora of minis out there already!

Keep at it menace I a msure you will come up with something. At least I hope so the entries aren't excactly coming in very quick. This could end up being a bit of a flop.

I'll work on my concept art at work today when no one shows up for painting lessons. I'm sure I'll have an entry by the end, I have lots of ideas but I'm not sure which one has the most "wow" factor.

No need to worry Tim, it's early days and there'll be many entrants, you'll see.... most are probably like myself and taking time over each aspect of their concepts

Ok--I was on my way home when something struck me! I have now got a few ideas. I want to be able to submit more than one! My drawing is equivalent to a 7 year old's, but I'll try and scratch something together. When is the contest over?

No you can submit one for each genre there will only be one design picked as a winner but I don't see why you can't submit something for each.

Maybe I missed it, but has there been any set scale to the mini? I kinda figure it'll end up being 28mm, but with the concept I just started I think that a larger scale (like 54mm) would be really cool...

We were thinking along the lines of 28mm, I wouldn't mind seeing it in 54mm scale though.
