It is with great disappointment that I have to announce that Matt Corwn has left the site, unfortunately the shoutbox seems to have disappeared with him and until I work out how to replace it then I am afraid that we will have to make do without it for now.
He was an intregal member of the team and will be missed. I am to blame for this I feel as I had once again announced the imminent closure of the site to him in an e-mail but this was a mistake and made at a time when I was going through a bad bought of depression, something I suffer with quite badly from time to time.
Sorry to see you go mate, you are welcome back at anytime if you so wish.

This is a great shame, especially considering the amount of love and hard work Matthew put into the site.

Erm, what does this mean? Is the site going to suddenly close or something? That would be an even bigger mistake.

No the site is not going to close, I am a depressive and when things start to get me down everything then snowballs so when I see the lack of activity here during one of these periods then that just adds to the problem. I understand how he feels I just wish he hadn't been so quick to do it. I was having a very bad week last week depression wise and sent an e-mail to Bru and Matt saying that the site was in mtce mode and would stay there, asked why and my reply was a little short (the depression kicking in again) this is inexcusable though hard to control when it is at its worst.
So I am sorry to lose a key member of the team and if you ever want to come back then the post is still open to you.

 No... Matt did an stupendusly excellent job an put so much into this site that you wouldn't believe it. I knew him pretty well from my more active days and I know he will be sorely missed from the site. I notice he deleted his account too... does this mean that he doesn't plan to return? I really hope not, but then again, Dennis came back after he deleted his old account, so there is still hope. A very saddened, Raccy. |

Sad news guys, very sad news.
I just hope he'll come back again.
Plus, keep the head up Tim, I'm sure your emails was not the only reason. And remember when your in one of your bad spells, that this site gives a lot of joy to a lot of people. Its more or less the only hobby site I regularly visit now, and we are lucky you set it up. Otherwise I would not have met all you great people!
