My Mini Journy

I have been painting models now for just over two years. I started In febuary 2004, when I was 11. Its been really on and off for me, so I've never been that solidly into it.

This would of been one of my first few minis:( even a begginer could tell there was something wrong with BGIMEs skin colour!)



Then a few months later :



This was maybe a year and a half ago: ( few months later I suppose)

This was my first attept at eyes: ( august 2005 )

And I painted this for the GD youngbloods 2005 in october, only starting the day before GD! :



And I haven't done much recently, and I've dropped down a level. But I'm slowly crawling back into it.

Well you know from One Ring that I think you are improving with every model, the best of the bunch is Radfagast I think he is a stand out mini in every respect compared to the others. Some of your paint looks like it may have been on the thick side in one or two shots but they are close ups and getting that close will always make things look worse than they may appear in reality.
You ought to post your Rohan progress here for a better look of your progression more recently.

Just saw this on the trade forum, I think that face is very good, I painted this guy myself and the face I found very hard to make anything of. I might get another one some time and have another go at it.
