right, i had only read the first 2 chapters about 2 months ago and on thursday picked it back up finding some spare time, i finished it last night and i must say that the book did not dissapoint and follows the first in its depth and intruige. this book deals with the first signs of heresy within the warmaster himself, and follows again mainly through the eye's of captain loken, the lunar wolves are now the sons of horus ( renamed in tribute of horus's monumental achievments ) and has kept up with all the side characters, the chapter stumbles upon the forces of chaos led by a traitor in a much larger scale this time and the events that unfold following this encounter see the warmaster change but in a way that is not expected, the mournival bond is broken and murder is in the air, voices that threaten to reveal the chapters new found dark secrets are silenced and from seeing the warmaster as a grand, moral and good person we see him change very suddenley. I was gripped all the way through and the fact that i read the book in 2 days compared to never finishing them normally shows that imho, i would seriously recommend this to any 40k or sci-fi fan (sorry for the poor reviewing skills, i dont normally do them lol ) JUST READ IT!
