I'm reading Countdown from DC I read 51, 50 and 49 and if anyone else reads it I'd be curious what you think of this whole 52 Worlds idea?
I guess it is DC reverting back to multiple universes pre Crisis using lesser known characters?
I'm giving it a 6.5 outta 10 on the Reddog -O-meter. Paul Dini is the writer and he is is good the art is just ok...
I also picked up the Marvel Civil War Trade and the Spider Man Civil War Trade.
I didn't jump on the Marvel Civil War band wagon but waited for the graphic novels. I think the main civil war book was worth the wait. It was well written and the art is good. If you want to read just one book and see what all the fuss was about then this is the one...
7.5 outta 10 on the Reddog - O - meter
I picked up the Amazing Spider-Man Civil War collection on a recommend and I am disappointed. The writing is OK but the art isn't my cup o tea. I was a Spidey fan as a kid and have quite a few books in collection but after reading the main Civil War trade this one didn't ass much to the experience... Maybe I would have appreciated it more if I read it as it was being released along with the main book?
6 outta 10 on the Reddog-O-meter

Civil War is/was Marvel Comics big story line crossover of 2006/007.
It was brought upon by civilians being killed in a fight between some young super heroes and super villains.
With the deaths of the innocent bystanders there is a cry by the American government for all super heroes to be registered and their identities made public. Of course there are heroes who don't think this is a good idea as they are worried for the well being of their friends and families if their identities were to be made public. Yet some heroes think that if this registration is made law then you must obey the law.
This causes a major rift in the super hero community and a "civil war" ensues...
