Well a friend of mine owns a comic & collectibles shop in Toronto Canada so I guess it is my duty to pick up books every week or so.
Here is what I picked up this week. The prologue to World War Hulk and issue 106 of the Incredible Hulk.
This is the book where Hulk is returning to Earth to take revenge on Doctor Strange, Mr. Fantastic and Iron Man for exiling Hulk to space and an alien planet (and all that story line entails)... Great cover art on # 106!
Overall a 7.5 out of 10 on the Reddog-O-Meter
The other book I picked up is Countdown (issue 51) from DC comics. This is their continuation of 52 their weekly comic that was/is to shake up the DC universe and in the process (supposedly) age everyone one year...
Since it is the first of 52 (or is it 51?) issues I will give it the benefit of the doubt but I will say I am not thrilled where DC is going with their new universe...
Nice Andy Kubert fold out cover but overall a 6 out of 10 on the Reddog-O-Meter (i hope this one gets better)
