I've always loved Spiderman and X-men etc. but when I ended up at highschool I found that the school library had marvel comics! I always thought they were only really in America ect. but good ole NZ does sell comics, even if they aren't that big here.
I've read every one in the library, and found a new love for them, they're awesome!! I mainly like the ultimate series, but the amazing spidermans pretty cool too.
I'd reccomend to all who love action, and that childish thrill you get imagining yourself as the heros! ( i'm only 13 and lost that feeling years ago! )
Let me know what ya all think!

Kiss the rock band had a series of comics written about them back in the 70's, issue 1 was kind of speacial not just because it was issue 1 but also because eacj of the band members donated a sample of their own blood and this was added to the ink that went into printing the first issue.

That will come in handy when you go to clone them. Just give that Simmons character a little more tongue, though...will ya?
When I was just a wee lad of 10 or so, I really fell in love with comics....I subscribed to Fantastic Four....I can remember how great it was finding a new copy in our mailbox every month. Recently, I suscribed for my 10 year old daughter to the "Ultimate Fantastic Four". The cool thing was, some of the same stories I read, were now just 'updated'. Great fun.

The ulitimate fantastic four is way different to the movie aye? Its the teleporting machine that transforms them not a random wave of energy in space. Though theres lots takes on everything, in some spidermans, he has metal 'webshooters' in others the web is actually part of his mutation.
I'm glad they've given you joy too.
