After I've been lurking around here for a while, I thought it was time to sign up Well my name is Odin Strand, been painting miniatures for 7,5 years. I love both aspects of the hobby, I paint quite a lot of armies , and I love to paint display models. During the last years I've won a few trophies in local and national painting competitions. and best painted army award on a few tournaments. So as you can see I just can't get enough of the hobby Besides being a warhammer fanatic my profession is Gold smithing, and the rest of my spare time i like playing RPG. and work out at the gym. So, thats me:P I'll try to upload some of my resent paint jobs today as well Greetings Odin

Heisann Odin, welcome to World of Minis!
Great to have another norwegian here! I have seen a couple of your minis IRL and they are great. Strange coincidence that you joined today, because I just noticed you at CMON and I also did some World of Minis advertisement at 2D6. We also have another norwegian here (well actually originally irish), Dennis who won the lotr category at last years GG. Please show us your GG WIPs (if you are planning to enter), and take your time to check out all the beautifully painted models here.
Btw, were you at GW exactly one week ago showing some brass etch ferns to the staff?

But I haven't really put my GG entry toghether yet, I actually started to work on some of the parts today @jnr; I'll try to push myself to the next level this year with my GG entry. got big plans that among many other things include Burnt yamber

Even though I live far away and seldom get the chance to visit GW Btw, is it expensive to order stuff from hasslefree? I mean shipping and that sort of stuff.

Well it depends on what you consider as expensive, I payed 2£ for shipping and 2£ per sheet (30x80mm), it sounds kinda expensive, but it actually a lot of ivy:)
