I just got back from seeing Motorhead at De Monfort Hall in Leicester, and wow what a gig. I have seen them a few times now but this was the best I had seen them play for quite some time. The wife realy enjoyed it too.

Motorhead are my favourite metal band, I have followed them since they released Overkill, but this gig was the best I had seen them play for a long time and they also played alot of tracks that haven't been aired in a while too including a Motorhead version of Thin Lizzy's Rosalie. F*****g awesome I'll tell you.

including a Motorhead version of Thin Lizzy's Rosalie. Lol! I love the original version of that song, so I will just have to listen to the Motorhead version!

Unfortunately as far as I know it is not on a cd this is the first time I have heard them play a song like that live. But it was good. There was also a all girl support band called Crucified Barbara they were ace, they were selling a cd at the merchandise desk of their album and I bought it and it is bloody brilliant

I did manage to see Thin Lizzy a couple of times, the most memorable being on the last tour before the split. I have also seen them since with John Sykes on vocals on a kind of tribute to Phil Lynott tour. They were pretty amazing actually. They released a live album called One Night Only or something like that. It is highly recommended.
