Hi all.
I found this site from Tim's request for painters for the Children In Need charity thread over at CmoN and thought I would join. Hope no one minds a newbie joining up.
I'm pretty new to the hobby; just started in Sept. of this year (2006). I'm trying to learn as much as I can while having fun painting.
I'm in a small town in Nebraska. I haven't found anyone else around here that's into the hobby, but the online community has been great.
Well, if there's anything you want to know about me, just ask.

Hi hiton, welcome to World of Minis!
We are all painters here, and some of us is even really great painters. So if you want to learn som new techniques and build your skills, just ask for tips and advice! I have only been a member for a couple of months, but I have learned much ;D

Well....fancy bumping into you here! Welcome to WoM, Hinton! I consider this place very similar to LCS's--small, very friendly, and with a number of extremely good painters. The only difference is most of the denizens here are actually up when you and I are, owning mostly to the fact they are in Europe . |

Yeah, it kinda has the same feeling as LCS's and that's perfectly fine with me. At first, I couldn't figure out why I was getting replies so quickly so early in the morning. Then I started noticing where everyone was from. ;D
