I don't remember saying hi when I first signed up....

Here is a little bit about me...

I live in the states, am quickly approaching 40, am happily married, with two children and a dog.

I love to paint, although I am not very good at it, it is a great stress reliever.

Never have really played any of the games that go with miniatures, once I did play a Warhammer game, it was fun. I do somehow end up with all kinds of rule books though, and they are fun to read through (mostly for fluff and painting ideas).

I tend to gravitate more towards sci-fi and modern miniatures. I used to be almost solely Fantasy but that all changed about 6 months ago....Now I just love SCI-Fi stuff, and its great 'discovering' all the things I have been ignoring for years.

I see plenty of familar names here, and it looks like a great, more intimate place to discuss minis and painting. Don't get me wrong, I love some of the other sites, but a lot of times your voice gets drowned out by the noise.

Welcome jimmygee, I am glad you like this little corner of the net. I no what you mean about being drowned out and this is excactly what I want to avoid here, I want people to be able to post and talk without worrying whether or not they might be saying something they shouldn't (within reason of course). Great to have you here and hope you will be hnaging out often around the forums.

Glad to have you here Jimmygee! I know what you mean about some of the other sites. I am looking forward to seeing some of your stuff.
