New Malcador Tank From Forgeworld

Fresh from the foundry wheels of the Forgeworld model making machine comes the new Malcador Tank. Now I think this is rather impressive and wouldn't mind one myself but I know that like all other tanks that I have owned before I would never get it painted.

It is not up on the site as yet as far as I can see I got this from a link in the latest newsletter.

Yep it looks like they have taken the tadpole design of the WWi tank and modified it to fit in with the 40K universe. No idea on pricing but you can expect an 80 pound plus price tag I think.

is it painted up as a chaos renegade tank by any chance, i only just noticed the chaos stars painted on the sides

I am not sure what faction it is for but in the news letter there was also a link to a new Chaos Renegade model so I suppose the two are connected. I'll get the pics and put them up.

That tank is awesome, I really like the early 20th Century-esque designs of recent FW productions. The chaos renegade looks decent, though a bit on the thick side in the leg. Except for the complex forearm I think regular GW might be quite capable of producing these in plastic. I think the legs may even be right from a cadian soldier.

the legs are from a cadian soldier i think, i think its just like the cadian veterans upgrade were you just get the torso head and arms/weapons but you have to also buy a box of cadians for the legs
