I used to have plenty of bad dreams when I was younger (and now still, although not for a couple of years). If it makes you feel any better I had constant nightmares when I was about 8 of a creature called Patrol who lived in our toilet. For years I was afraid of going upstairs on my own! I the end, we flushed him down the toilet and since then, I haven't dreamed about him! The point of that storywas to say, if you have something persistant in your dreams, find a way to get rid of it!

I have had the exact bad dream three of four times. I have not had the dream since I was ten years old, but I remember it.
The dream was really strange. There was a conflict between a good side and a bad side. The bad side wanted everything to be square and spiky, and the good side wanted everything to be round (strange dream eh?). So they constantly changed a city from spiky to round (I can not exactly describe the dream, because it was so wierd).
I have also had a strange dream were I am in a red city. I am running around and in the end I fall out of a big cliff, then I wake up. I had this same dream a couple of times too, but not in a few years.
The strangest dream i have ever had was a few months ago. I had to go through some guys garden to make a shortcut to my house. Suddenly the guy comes out of his house with a nailgun and started to hunt me. At the end, I stumbled and the guy nailed my leg to the ground!

One of my most frighteneing recurring dreams was that I was in a long corridoor filled with doors, and I had to choose one to go through (easy eh?), well there was a catch behind eahc door was death and only one door had life, as the dream progressed I entered different corridoors each time with less doors in and so the choosing became harder. I never got down to two doors I always managed to wake up before then.

I had a psychic friend help me out with some bad stuff I was going through bout a year back, I had some really bad stuff repressed, and she unlocked it for me and for about 3 months I suffered with the most terrible nightmares, really disturbing stuff, and I had to go back to her to get them stopped. She told me to ride them out, and as said above after about 3 months they stopped, I was bloody knackered, as I couldn't sleep properly while having them, I used to wake up in cold sweats staring at the door waiting for something to happen, seems daft now, but was really scary at the time. Now my Mum always swore by her dreamcatcher.

Heres an interesting fact:
Everyone wakes up from their nightmare just before they die in it, or something similar. The sudden jolt of waking up gets your heart going, so if you didn't wake up then you'd die.
(Heard it on a documentary).

I used to have a recurring dream when I was younger. I was with my bed on the top of an elevator and suddenly the ropes let loose and we were falling. Luckily I don't have bad dreams for lot of years now. Actually I don't really remember any dreams anymore...

Well the simple fact is that we all dream, we need dreams for some reason that at the moment I can't remeber. The fact that you don't remember dreaming does not mean that you don't have them. Once you are in R.E.M. sleep you are dreaming.

No not at all you only remeber the dreams that are more intense than others, dreams only last seconds even though they seem to last ages while you are dreaming, you will have countless dreams in a nights sleep that you will not remember.

Heres a strange thing. I never remember my dreams, but the last days I have remembered my dreams correctly, does this mean something? Here is my dreams the last days: Thursday: Something with a girl (can't remember anymore, but I did when I woke up) Friday: I wanted to play WoW (even thought I don't play it IRL) but I didn't have a computer, so I went everywhere looking for a computer Saturday: Two guys in my class was going to kill me with axes Sunday: I went to GD UK but got lost in Birmingham city so I missed it (a really horrible nightmare ) Monday: I was trained by a wrestler guy to fight in a boxing championship Tuesday: My class was captured in a consentration camp led by women in leather clothes (lol)

@ mutantpotato; You have a very active subconscious, i'd suggest a large whiskey before bed! Dreams about girls become nightmares about women as you get older , the leather bit is an omen that you will eventually be a slave to one like the rest of us I'd suggest not getting too drunk with Irishmen at next years GD Lots of anxiety and violence... buy a big gun, axes won't be a problem to you then
