I have to say, this turned out quite well: He did have hands but I decided that an orc came and severed them for trophies. Also I may give him some hair and a beard.

This shows good imporvement from your last sculpts.
Next I would focus on making figures which can stand on their own, this is a tough step to make but will push your skills forwards.
Keep looking at what real cloth folds look like--if you see something intersting while out and about to a quick sketch (assuming this doens't involve staring at some stranger for long amounts of time) and look in books, at photographs, any good reference you can get your hands on. This is perhaps the most challenging aspect to master I think, just look at Meier's work to see what 33 years practice can do.
That said, its quite good considering you've been working for only a month or two. Cheers.

The trouser cloth is supposed to be thin, so i thought that it would have lots of small folds. Is that right?

The trouser cloth is supposed to be thin, so i thought that it would have lots of small folds. Is that right? Good theory, not enough reference. In actuality if a piece of cloth draped on an object such as a leg fals to the floor, the result is quite complex, there being no folds for the most part on the highest part of the leg from the ground becuase the cloth's weight pulls it to the floor, and many folds at the place where cloth meets ground. Mave someone lie on the floor wearing baggy pants and you'll see what I mean. Doing this sculpt correctly would be rather challenging.
