hey, although I cannot visit this site as often as I'd like I couldn't resist spamming my last mini here so here it is: initially I wanted to make APC just for a game but it took me 5-6 days to assemble it and 3 days to paint plastic parts come from chimera boxed set - they have lots of details I couldn't make in paper I hope You like it if You'd like to vote it - check www.coolminiornot.com/132042 hext project - paper land raider!!!

It's a quite unusual thing to see, but i'ts indeed well executed ;D I don't like the front ( the middle part under the windows) so much, but the rest is just awesome. Looks just like a plastic rhino. Wonderful job Demi, voted 9 What about an Imperial Guard armoured company? ;D ;D

naaah - I'd rather make deathwing force: land raiders are much more expensive than rhinos of chimeras

well, thats different, but i gotta say, when i first saw this topic name i thought it was gonna be an origami special of an animal rhino ;D
but this is much better, its amazing, the detail is there and the paintjob is top notch.
how much did it cost to make?

This is absolutely brilliant. You have really got the whole thing spot on. I made some vehicles out of paper many many years ago and i thought i had done a good job on those..... but now i see i was deluded.
Great Job

As already said, fantastic work, you would really not think on the first glance it was paper. Painting is also excellent. A very nice piece of your army it will be, young padawan Seems also to be a cost saving method to add vehicles to your army

Wow... Had you not told me it was paper I would have thought it was one of the plastic ones. Fantastic job on the building of it. The painting is great as well.

how much did it cost to make? well I paid about a 1$ for paper, and 1$ for pot of pva glue (I used 1/3 of that) - I got plastic parts from chimera set - I simply didn't manage to use tthem so far so speaking about money it costed almost nothing... but I wasted almost a week to assemble this bastard Seems also to be a cost saving method to add vehicles to your army money - yes, time - not for sure! thx or kind words - that motivates me to pake another paper thingy: I'm wondering about "modern" land raider and old-school one

well, thats different, but i gotta say, when i first saw this topic name i thought it was gonna be an origami special of an animal rhino ;D Y'know what, so did I! But anyway, WOW! Looking at the finsished model, then the beginnings, you would have not thought it was paper. I looked a the top picture and thought "That's good, now where's this paper rhino?" Then I realised that was it and I was amazed! ;D

money - yes, time - not for sure! That's right... but usually those who have less money to spend on minis have more free time to assemlbe and paint...
