Yet another Skaven to fuel my rat fascination atm. Really enjoying painting these as well, this ones for a step by step for the Skavenblight Gazette webzine. Think I'll gloss the globe, still looks a little flat to me. :roll:

You're really on a roll there! I must say you completely changed my opinion on skaven. Before I couldn't really appreciate the minis but you made me see the brilliance of them. I really love your painting style on these rats.

Another excellent piece! I would agree wholeheartedly on the globe. The weathering on the metals is awesome and the gemwork on the goggles is spot on. The only nitpicks I would have is for a bit more highlighting on the robes and skintones.

yup i have to agree ,its spot on James and the glossyer the better for the glode it needs the shiny glass feel to it

Thanks folks. The lenses and globes have since had a touch of gloss varnish the give them a little more shine.

Looks alot better with the gloos effect on. I will say it again your best skaven yet, started the Warpfire cannon yet?
