I know many of you are younger than myself and probably have very strong wrists. But just recently the old war wound has been playing up and I found it a chore to shake those little bottles as much as I think I need to.
Anyway I noticed the other day when she who must be obeyed was clearing out the cupboards that we owned a salad shaker. Now as the winter is drawing in and salads turn to suet puddings and plume duff she wouldn't need it for now and why not.
So I took the shaker and popped a bottle inside and turned the handle and Hussar it works lovely. A gentle non wrist breaking turn of the handle and i get a lovely smooth mix from the bottle.
If anyone else has an easier idea I would love to hear it.

I tend to just take the tops off my bottles and then stir them up with cocktail sticks, works a treat for me.

A bit of a pricey option, but I think there are paint shakers out there--if memory serves me correctly, Micro Mark makes one. I have heard good things about it, although never used one myself.
