I really enjoyed painting this wizard. I took a few shortcuts by glossing the orb and the gem in the staff. It looks really cool in real life so i'll be using it again I'm not at all fussed about the dragon details sculpted on the back of the cloak, and if i was to paint this mini agin i would file the detailing off, there are some irregularities that i wouldn't accept with freehand. Hope you all enj

Great job! The orb and gem look amazing, I think the gloss makes it look very realistic. I agree with you on the back of the mini, your painting is much better than the sculpting on the back

The expression on this one is awesome, Dennis! The gloss on the orb and staff looks great. Not much to else say except I find inspiration in your work once again!

Stunning mate, lovely mini and grat paintjob, especially the orbs. I gloss mine too, gives them that extra pop.

The miniature itself does nothing for me but you have certainly made an excellent paint job of it especially the choice of warm colours. Not easily achieved but in this case achieved to perfection.
