These rules were made specifically to work with the LOTR SBG, but you could make up different rules to fit another game. The idea of these rules is that you can do a Robin Hood style archery competition. Here is the target, mounted on a 25mm base. To use the target it will have to be nearly at a vertical angle, so you could make a stand for it, but I just lean it against some suitable scenery. Once you have your evil warrior and good warrior lined up you can start. You must roll to see who hits the target: Elf bow- 3+ Bow- 4+ Shortbow- 4+ Orc bow- 5+ Dwarf bow- 4+ Uruk- hai crossbow- 4+ Throwing weapon- 5+ If the warrior hits the target, then they roll again. Heres the target roll chart: 1- The outer circle 2-5 The middle circle 6- The center circle And the points chart: Outer circle- 1 point Middle circle- 2 points Center circle- 4 points You can do as many rounds as you want, depending on what you and your opponent agree. You could even play this before a battle to see who gets to go first in the battle. Well, thats it, have fun. Feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. I will make a tutorial for how to make the target soon.

I've got some new advanced rules to add.
These rules are optional:
Riot!
The evil warriors are bred only to kill. After each round, roll a dice for each evil warrior. If the roll for a warrior is below their courage, they start attacking the good warriors. (From then on normal LOTR SBG rules apply).
I hope this rule will make evil players think a bit more about choosing their force.
Bow string snap
If any warrior rolls a 1 when rolling to hit their bow string snaps. This means they can no longer shoot so they must leave the table.
Dirty cheats
The evil side, being evil, are likely to cheat. They can attempt to cut a warriors bow string whilst it is slung on his back if their base is touching his. They also have to be behind the warrior. Cheating chart:
1-3- The evil warrior is seen and the good warrior tries to kill them. (Normal fighting LOTR SBG rules apply).
4-6- The evil warrior cuts the string unseen. The good warrior must leave the table when it is his turn to shoot. (Thats when he would notice).
Well, thats it for now. BTW I forgot to mention good warriors can go against good, e.g. Gondor against Rohan but it would be a completely peaceful contest.
Evil warriors can also go against evil, e.g. Mordor against Isengard but they would both count as evil sides so if you are using the advanced rules they would both have to roll for the Riot! rule.
Feedback for these new rules is welcome.
