Hi di Hi! I've recieved my Bob Olleys Dwarf World minis on friday. I Decided to pic one up and start painting to see what they were like. I was totally hooked! Here is my first Dwarf. He (and all the other dwarves too) will be used in a diorama hence th lack of base Real Size: I painted his eyes so they are crossed with the effort of keeping the bagpipes going ;D Thanks for looking! Andre

Looks very good but some of the lining on the tartan could be better.

hey hey thanks for your comments guys! glad you like him. yeah I agree some of the stipes could be better, especially the white ones. this was the first time I tried to do anythink like this and I did the white ones last and didn't want to repaint everything, 'coz I was afraid of spoiling it all. so I'll try to make the next one better instead

Looks great, the tartans a nice touch, but the crossed eyes really give it that bit of character!!!

Great first go at the tartan. I have tried it (once) myself and it is quite a challenge. The white could use a bit more defining, but the green lines are very well done. My only other nitpick would be to have a bit more highlighting on the beret--it looks a bit flat compared to the cloak. The eyes and red nose are a great touch.

Great job on the weathering. The strong highlighting with gray/silver on the fish doesn't look quite right to me, but the color contrasts nicely with the hood.

Great job Andre, really like how he's turned out. The highlights on the fish don't bother me, as it looks like an oiley reflection that you sometimes get on fishscales.

She is very nice Andre, you might want to change the background for the picture as it is too similar to the dress, also the pics would be better posted vertically that would allow you to show bigger images, aroun d 450 to 480 dpi which is the size I usually go. Keep it up brother.
