This is one I finally finished up for a friend's son who is starting to get into D&D. He was a tiny little bugger. I would definitely rate him as "tabletop". He has been on the shelf for over a year. I really need to quit taking so long to finish minis. I think I paint much better now then I did 18 months ago. My first instinct was to strip him, but instead I just accepted the older paintjob and tried to spruce it up with how I paint now. The color scheme was chosen by the player. As always, C&C welcome!

Pictures quite small but the blue is fantastic, the face also looks pretty good too.

With the bigger pics I am still loving the blues. The only thing I can see that I would call a fault is the eye looks a little large.

The blue on this mini is brilliant mate! Excellent work mate, though you really should speed up your painting a bit... a year and a half is a bit too long!

Don't be so hard on yourself, I would be very happy to have that mini painted just like that. You've done a great job!!

Thanks for the compliments, mates. @raccy--I'll try and speed up my painting. I just get so easily distracted with the shiny new minis coming out... @tim--yeah the eyes are a bit buggy, I agree @rahz--the blues are done from the VMC line. Intense Blue (shaded a bit with black), Medium Blue, the highlighted with Ivory and Medium Blue mix. @brue--thanks again for the encouragement! I am sure the player with like him.
