thank you mates thanks a lot for the comments they are really appreciated I do not think I'll have a chance to win the comp though, not with anders and a golden demon winner entering, but with some luck I make it to the top 10 ( ). But as Anders said. "Competitions are good because they make you push yourself",.and I have to agree about that. I have learned many new things painting this mini Cheers, Razh

I think I have said this in many other threads, but one more time doesn't hurt eh?
The mini is awesome, and indeed your best work to date. The rusty metals and the face is great. I am glad you did this right before me, because it has given me lots of inspiration and new ideas ;D

I love how you've painted this. All the colours seem to compliment each other and bring the mini together. Great work.

Pretty damn good! Some of your earlier stuff which I saw looked quite nice, but this one reaches a new level of quality. The colours compliment each other very well, and the base is just brilliant. I think they'll be hard pressed to beat this one!

G'day Here is the finished mini I will enter in GW stockholm's 'The Fang'. Thanks for looking and your help during the panting! André Hehe, I was looking at this one again and I wanted to make it clear I in no way helped Andre with his panting. Running before, during or after a paint session is forbidden in my style of mini painting. ;D

Congrats on getting this bad boy suitably lookin', just one point before the competition, you may want to buff the edges of the base with some extra fine 'wet and dry ' sandpaper used wet until they are perfectly smooth and then a few ultra thin coats of chaos black, it's amazing what you can loose points on!

I realy like the mettalics and the rusty parts on this Mini. Also the Wood amazes me. Definetly a good overall impression. However there are someparts which are not so well: 1. The Blad on his right shoulder pad as on the front sid strips on it. It loooks kinda wierd, might want to change that. 2. the Skin could use some smooth transition and a more nurgle look. use more highlights and try to shade with purple or green. 3. The cloth (in gerenal) could use more depth. From the close ups most of it just looks like it was hightlighted once. More Highlights there too. That was it... Hope that helps.

One very important thing about photos and entering a competition where it is held in the hands of a judge, finish the highlights where they best suit the model IRL, you can be the only judge of this, it is something that we must consider in crits to avoid influencing you to change the real response to this guy!
again, good luck in your choice!

Cheers I might leave it as it is ( except the base rim) so I don't ruin it buy a clumsy mistake. the cloth do look a bit better IRL
